I've started playing and i got no DLC promised from IndustrialRevolution! Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts. Any other order will spoil certain aspects of the game, and with a masterpiece of storytelling like the Bioshock series, having ANYTHING spoiled is just a travesty. I played BioShock, then Infinite (haven't played the dlc for it yet), then went back and played BioShock2. I'm pretty sure 2 was developed by a different studio. The order Sovereign mentioned is definitely the best order, but if you want to try something else chronological order is also an option. Pretty sure chronological order goes Infinite => Burial at Sea => Bioshock => Bioshock 2 (and I believe Minerva's Den comes right after Bioshock 2, but not sure). All trademarks are property of their respective owners in the US and other countries. Español - Latinoamérica (Spanish - Latin America), http://bioshock.wikia.com/wiki/Rapture_Storyline. © Valve Corporation. Chronologically it comes first in the story, but play them in the order of release, 1, 2, Minerva's Den, Infinite, BaS1, BaS2. There might be a 'thing' there. Again, all good games. I'd say the order they were released in is best, but Infinite, 1, 2, Infinite DLC's works as well. Have fun. The order of the games should be played, Infinite; which provides more substence and added detail to the later games. 9 comments. Just my 2 cents. Next in line would be Bioshock 2, this game tells the story of the fall of rapture and your part in it from the perspective of a Big Daddy. I'm i doing something wrong? The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic. What's the best place for Clash in the Clouds though? This is how they were intended. The order Sovereign mentioned is definitely the best order, but if you want to try something else chronological order is also an option. Just got the DLCs, and I was wondering what the correct order is. Pretty sure chronological order goes Infinite => Burial at Sea => Bioshock => Bioshock 2 (and I believe Minerva's Den comes right after Bioshock 2, but not sure). All rights reserved. However, its more minigames instead of story. All trademarks are property of their respective owners in the US and other countries. If this is your first time playing through the games though, definitely go with Sovereign's order. Cant go wrong playing them in order of release. Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts. It works since Infinite is relatively independent when it comes to the storyline, there's only a bit at the end you'll be able to properly appreciate once you played the other two games. Including all three games and Minerva's Den. It works since Infinite is relatively independent when it comes to the storyline, there's only a bit at the end you'll be able to properly appreciate once you played the other two games. Thanks. So should I opt for the order Sovereign had proposed? Do NOT play Infinite first, though. I Disagree completely with all these opinions and have substence behind my argument. Should i also play 2 before or could i wait with that until after i finished burial at sea? Well i started off with Bioshock Infinite (without the DLC's though) and only later played Bioshock 1 and 2. Can't go wrong with the original order either. All rights reserved. In which order should I play DLC? In February 2013, 2K Games announced that a season pass would be offered for BioShock Infinite downloadable content (DLC). Downloadable content (DLC), also called add-ons, expansions, or patches, are additional content created for games and released separately from their main release. I had fun and got the story. I played all three games like 5 years ago and want to replay them. Español - Latinoamérica (Spanish - Latin America). Next up would be the two burial at sea installments; so far there are only two but they explain the birth and distortion of rapture. Read up on the development history of these games if you are curious. So I started with clash in the clouds, simply because its the first dlc that was released. OK I have Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Infinate and the DLC, I read this here somewhere but cannot find again. Bioshock 1 => Bioshock 2 => Minerva's Den => Bioshock Infinite => Burial at Sea Ep1&2. Bioshock is my favorite series. Moreover, the DLC button in menu is unavailable. Well i started off with Bioshock Infinite (without the DLC's though) and only later played Bioshock 1 and 2. © Valve Corporation. If you play Bioshock 1 before it, 2 may be a bit of a letdown. Then just play 1 then Infinite. just the way you listed them.there all amazing games.you'll want the full story before you get to infinite. I'd say play Bioshock 2 first, because it's the weakest installment, although still amazing. it not only predates the first game but allows a more in-depth story for the first Bioshock by aloowing you to understand the role of the Big Daddys even more. Edit: so everyone is telling me to play 1 first, which ill definately do. Do not start with infinite. Right after Infinite? I want to replay them as well, so what order should I go for? yeah but your loosing the wondering, the second guessing the excitment of thinking you know the story and then realizing you were wrong.knowing the whole story isn't always a good thing. I recommend playing in the order you listed, but It doesn't matter, they're all great games in their own rights. Should i play burial at sea first or not? Finally of course would be the first game, Bioshock which tells the story of Ratures final demise and purging. I'd say the order they were released in is best, but Infinite, 1, 2, Infinite DLC's works as well.
